Today we are releasing the beta version of TronLink, our chrome extension. This is a version that mainly targets developers since it will only support testnet use until smart contracts launch on the mainnet.

TronLink simplifies access to the Tron Blockchain, making it very easy to use. Since it’s a browser extension, it has the ability to connect the content of a website to a secure platform where you can send, receive, and sign transactions. TronLink provides similar usage to the Tron Network as MetaMask does with the Ethereum Network. Developers will now be able to create and interact with DApps in the browser which opens up a whole new realm that Tron has never seen before.

By integrating TronLink, developers are able to interact with the smart contracts they create for their DApps right inside their browser. Interactions that were previously impossible are now easily accomplished. This enables games, applications, sites, and more, all fueled by the TRON blockchain through TronLink.

It is reported, TRON will launch virtual machine on May 25 (UTC+8), mainnet on May 31, token migration on June 21 and the first 27 super representative elections on June 26. With this date approaching, today, Rfinex announced that it would support the TRON blockchain upgrade and token migration. Investors only need to deposit TRX’s ERC-20 tokens to Rfinex before June 24th in 2018 (UTC+8) and will receive the equivalent TRX token after mainnet launch. No transaction is affected during the migration.
