Sharism Lab

Isaac Mao

Isaac was described as the first blogger in China by The Guardian. He co-founded and brought the Creative Commons project into China. He was also the board member of Tor Project,  and advisory of Global Voices Online. In 2018, he helped set up the Musicoin Foundation to promote decentralized music around the world.

During a fellowship at Berkman Center at Harvard University, Isaac coined the term Sharism, a new philosophy that explains how a fully connected society will transform human beings into emergent superintelligence, which later found its applications in the metaverse. In 2014, Sharism was rewarded as “Idea of the Future” by the Davos Communication Forum.
